Our stylists earn a competitive 48–50% commission on service sales. Your rate grows as your skills, book and experience grow, and our Summit career path shows you exactly what it takes to move up. Retail commission is paid at 10%.
Each stylist has their own price list based on their experience, skill level and demand. As you build your clientele and complete more education, your prices go up too. You’ll always know where you stand and what it takes to reach your next price increase.
Our salon floor is commission-based, not booth rental. That’s how we provide education, marketing, product and a steady flow of new guests. If you’re an independent beauty professional who wants your own space, ask about primp. collective.
No. Bringing an existing clientele helps, but it isn’t required. Our marketing, online booking and established guest base help new team members build a full book quickly.
Yes! Our primp. University associates program is built for recent grads. You’ll get hands-on training and mentorship from experienced stylists, plus a clear path to your own chair.
We partner with Summit Salon Business Center, a national salon coaching company. For you, that means a clear career path, ongoing education, one-on-one coaching and proven systems that help you grow your income. You can learn more about Summit Salon here.
We invest in ongoing technical, business and leadership training through Summit, our product partners and in-salon classes.
We’re open Monday through Saturday. Most stylists work 30–35 hours per week, and we’ll work with you to build a schedule that fits your goals and your life.
